A guided meditation is a form of meditation wherein your mind is taken to a journey, a journey to place where you can relax, contemplate and reflect. In a guided meditation someone is going to read to you a script that is written especially for meditating. The script can either be read by someone or you can always play a CD for guided meditation. For a guided meditation to work you have to let go of conscious thoughts and let your subconscious take over. Guided meditation can certainly assist you relax and unwind and it can also help you sleep better at night and gain stress reduction.
